Personal data protection charter for esf customers and/or students
As part of the services it offers, esf collects your personal data. The purpose of this charter is to describe the methods by whichesf uses said data in accordance with the provisions of the famous RGPD (European General Data Protection Regulation of 25 May 2018).
1. Did you know?
Esf instructors are self-employed.
They form local groups called Écoles du Ski Français to organise the teaching, supervision and entertainment of skiing and other board sports in resorts.
To defend their interests, they also form legally constituted Local Unions. There is only one Local Union per resort.
The name "French Ski School" is authorised by the Syndicat National des Moniteurs du Ski Français (S.N.M.S.F), which was created in 1945. Its aim is to organise the profession by ensuring that instructors have autonomy in terms of organisation and teaching.
When you take advantage of the services offered by theesf , your personal data is therefore processed by both the Local Union and the S.N.M.S.F., each of which acts as data controller for its own purposes.
In other words:
- The Syndicat Local processes your data to manage its contractual relationship with you (invoicing, payment, reservation management, etc.), to carry out marketing operations and to comply with its legal obligations.
- The S.N.M.S.F. processes your data because it manages the central computer reservation system that enables the Local Unions to collect the data required to organise the services of theesf. The S.N.M.S.F. manages this computer system for CRM processing purposes.
